Night Fishing from the dock
This is not a “cookie cutter” rental house, this is our home that we
enjoy sharing with select individuals. It is furnished nicely, and
cleaned and cared for by the best. Email us and we will show you
around. Most importantly, it is located on the ocean side of Big Pine Channel where you have live entertainment daily with fishermen, windsurfers, jet skis and kayaks. Who wants to look at someones back yard or a bunch of mangroves? This is your vacation of a lifetime…..You just don’t know it yet! The first thing you notice upon entering the Reel Easy is the colorful walls and custom hand painted themes for each room. It gives you a feeling of being in a tropical resort. As you walk out onto the large 2nd story balcony, you will be amazed by the view.
You can see for miles over the open-water bay, blue skies and crystal clear water. You can actually see the parrot fish and tarpon from the balcony. A large “T’ shaped dock allows you to catch grouper, shark and snapper at night or day, as it is automatically lighted to attract fish in the evenings. The back yard is a sandy beach and you can walk right down into the water to snorkel, swim or dive. A large in-ground jacuzzi is at the bottom of the stairs to enjoy.
Regarding the serious fisherman, 400 LB ice machine, boat ramp on premises (for up to 26 ft) 12000 LB boat lift, custom fish cleaning station on dock. Full standing freezer in storage room for chum, bait or your catch of the day.
Just for fun, new 2 man kayak, ping pong table, BarBQ grill with extra tank. OBrien 2 man tube for pulling behind boat. Outdoor furniture upstairs on balcony and downstairs by jacuzzi. Kids sand toys and indoor games for all. Large hammock for napping. Wall mounted Big screen TV in living room, TV in every bedroom. Movies provided. Cable TV, Poker Table, chips and cards. 1 King in master, 1 double, 1 twin in each bedroom. Kitchen/loaded, all linens, towels, etc. washer/dryer incl. Blow dryer, curling iron, shampoo, body wash, detergent is all there.
We have even taken the privilege of stocking the pantry with standard non-perishable items and spices. Sugar, salt, flour, coffee and paper goods to get you started. Small refrigerator near jacuzzi for drinks.

I don’t know why you would want to leave the house, (We never do!), but…..Key West is only 35 minutes away for great food and entertainment. Duval street provides a day of shopping for unique gifts and art and museums are everywhere. Don’t miss the nightly free sunset celebration at Mallory Square, food, circus acts and vendors.
Across the bay from the house, Big Pine Key, has snorkeling and dive
trips, glass bottom boats and all types of charter fishing. Stop at
the Key Deer National Wildlife refuge, it’s the only place you will
see a rare Key deer. At the end of your street there’s Dolphin
Marina which gives ferry boat rides every hour to the exclusive
Little Palm Island. Various restaurants and sports bars are within 10
minutes of house. Remember, maps and menus of our favorite places are at the house.
Vacation Rental Rates
$1600 wk/ $6400 mo off-season (April-Nov)
$1900 wk/ $7600 mo on-season (Dec-Mar)
Arrival & departure time is 12:00 noon.
Mini season, fantasy fest, holidays and regular lobster season rates are slightly higher.
A refundable security deposit (minus $150 cleaning fee and
utilities) will reserve your dates. Balance due and deposits go non-
refundable two months prior to rental date.
Full refund upon evacuation for a hurricane.
